Professional Biography

Dr. Ali Hooshangui, DMD, MSc, BSc (Microbiology), is a Canadian general dentist and Co-Owner and Clinical Director of NEESH Dental. Before entering dentistry, he completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology at Azad University in Tehran, where his graduate research focused on C-reactive protein and meningitis. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2006 and began practising in North Battleford. In 2010, he returned to Saskatoon and joined NEESH Dental, becoming a 50% owner in 2013. Dr. Hooshangui provides a broad scope of general dentistry, with particular interests in dental sleep medicine, oral appliance therapy, digital dentistry and fixed restorative care. He has earned the AADSM Qualified Dentist designation. His approach combines evidence-based decision-making and careful attention to detail with a calm and reassuring manner. He values long-term patient relationships and takes particular care to help anxious patients feel heard, comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.
